Week of Prayer

Week of Prayer Jan 4-8 at 7:00pm each day.

“In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

The invitation is clear; God wants us to tell Him about out deepest concerns. He’s genuinely moved by the desperate cries of our hearts. At the same time His ear is also tuned to our basic, everyday needs. Yet in spite of God’s incredible promises, and our assurance that He’s ready and willing to listen to us, we often struggle to understand what God exactly wants us to pray about. God cares about what we are facing and our prayers have to be rooted in the confidence that God is compassionate and willing to act on our behalf. Our God is a great big God and nothing is too big for Him. The scriptures declare …”if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Isaiah 56:7 says “for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations”
